Nicole ArenaNicole Arena grew up in suburbia Santa Clarita, California.  She was very active throughout her school years participating in; soccer, softball, basketball, track, Jr. lifeguards, girl scouts, drama club, yearbook, honor societies and student council. 

Nicole believes the best decision she ever made was changing schools her senior year of high school. She left all of her friends and almost 4,000 classmates to attend Academy of the Canyons; at which she was dual enrolled in college and high school. Located on the College of the Canyons campus, this middle-level high school-college only had 200 students and an intensive course structure.  There she became involved with the “Virtual Enterprise” program, which solidified her love for business. As the CEO of her “virtual” company she won awards for the school, which are still recognized to this day.

After finishing high school Nicole continued to take courses at College of the Canyons where she received her Associates Degree in Accounting. At COC she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society.

Nicole Arena graduated San Diego State UniversityNicole transferred to San Diego State University where she attained a Bachelors Degree with a major in Marketing and a minor in Sociology.  Her love and interest for marketing peaked during her years at SDSU. She also developed strong interest in international studies and became a dedicated member of SDSU’s International Business Society’s philanthropy committee.

Nicole was also involved in Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) where she served as a project manager for her team. In her team she helped to develop projects to promote participation in activities that benefited SDSU and the surrounding community.  Some of the projects included environmental sustainability, financial literary, economics, entrepreneurship and success skills.

Nicole Arena with SIFE Team.Nicole believes that her most challenging and rewarding marketing project to date occurred as a Small Business Consultant for San Diego State University.  Working in a small team she helped to create a winning business and marketing plan for a local entrepreneur.

Currently, Nicole works in media for an advertising agency in Los Angeles.  She believes that you never stop learning and growing and looks forward to furture development in her career.
